One suitcase poorer

Well I have arrived at Muscat, Oman. My Journey starts out great, my luggage has gone missing somewhere between Amsterdam, London and Muscat. So I’m sitting here in my very warm European clothes while outside it’s already a cool 32 degrees Celsius at nine in the morning. I just hope my suitcase arrives soon. The trip over from London to Muscat with Gulf airlines was very comfortable, good airline.
Nothing much to tell at the moment, I’m just going to have some breakfast and have a rest before I’m going to explore the city.

Ready for takeoff

Only two more days and then it’s off to Oman, I can hardly wait. Last weekend I finished my last preparations by completing my PADI Open Water certification. So now I’m a certified diver and next to exploring the surface of Oman for two weeks I'm also going to explore the underwater world for a full week.
Who ever said, holiday is relaxation was joking :-)
Well that’s all for know, but soon I’ll have lots more to tell when I’ve arrived in Oman and enjoyed my first impressions.

Anticipation

Oman here I come

Only two more weeks and than I’m on my way, to Oman. I can hardly wait what I’ll find over there.
1st Of September from Amsterdam to London Heathrow, I hope the airport restrictions have mellowed by then. I’m not particularly looking forward at hours of checking luggage. But after that its off to Musqat. Yeh baby :-)
